The Kansas House of Representatives passed HCR 5004 with 90 voting in favor and 28 opposed on Wednesday, Feb. 5. The bill, if approved, would clarify that only United States citizens can vote in Kansas elections. The bill will now go to the Kansas Senate for approval and, if it is approved in that body, later turned over to the state’s voters for a final decision.
